Dear Skålleagues,
Our Adelaide National Assembly was a truly memorable weekend, thank you to everyone who travelled and participated in our National Assembly. The welcome function at the Adelaide Zoo set the tone beautifully — what an incredible experience feeding giraffes and visiting the giant pandas, it was an unforgettable way to kick things off.
Our Assembly itself was productive and energising. We saw fantastic collaboration across our clubs, with members openly sharing ideas, challenges, and successes. These conversations are at the heart of what makes Skål strong — working together to shape our collective future.
The gala dinner at the National Wine Centre was another highlight, with incredible food, lively entertainment, and plenty of dancing to round out a fun-filled night.
A very special thank you must go to the incredible Adelaide organising committee, who did a sensational job in delivering such a seamless and enjoyable program for us all. We appreciate how much hard work goes into bringing these weekend events together and we are extremely grateful.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to be travelling to Cusco as we speak for the Skål World Congress. It will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and friends from around the globe in the cultural capital of Peru, my first visit to the South American continent. I’m proud to represent Skål Australia internationally and continue building connections that benefit our clubs at home.
Skål is about friendship, collaboration, and doing business together — Adelaide reminded us of that, and Cusco will carry that spirit forward worldwide.
I look forward to seeing our Australians travelling to Cusco very soon!
Yours in Skål,
Ash Munn
