Skål International Switzerland participates in the ‘Fun & Beach 2025’ Volleyball Tournament

Skål International Switzerland participated as a guest and non-competitor with members of Skål International of Montreux-Vevey, Skål International Lausanne and Skål International Geneva for the third consecutive time in the 13th edition of the ‘Fun & Beach’ tournament organised by TAP Air Portugal, VT Vacances and Club Med in Ecublens/VD.
Each team was made up of four or five people but only travel agents. A minimum of two women per team is required by the rules. The two semi-finalists will fly to southern Spain in November for the 2025 Fun & Beach final, which will take place from 1 to 5 November at a premium resort, Club Med Magna Marbella.
As every year, the ‘Skål Toujours’ team was coached by our National Treasurer, Gianni Sarno. Our players on the field were:
Aurélie Bourcart, National President.
Julie Beuchat-Bourcart, National Secretary, and her daughter Lycia.
Georges Koch, Skål International Director Region 6, and his son Thomas.
Nath de Tran, Skål International Genève member.
The team was reinforced for its last match of six by Nathalie Serre, a friend of Peter Butler, National Vice-President, who secured the third victory in six matches with her teammates.
For the record: In previous competitions, the Skål International team had never won a single match!
Unlike in other sports, the team's coach has never been dismissed and enjoys the complete confidence of all the players.
